January 28, 2011, The Gannon University women's basketball team is hoping to raise $18,000 from its upcoming Pink Zone game and related events. The team's fourth annual Pink Zone game will be held at 1 p.m. on Feb. 5 as the Lady Knights host PSAC rival Indiana (Pa.) at the Hammermill Center. Click here for the application form.This is a great opportunity for Erie residents to acquire first hand information about their Police Department. The intention of the eleven week Citizens Police Academy is to offer first hand information to the public on the day-to-day operations of the Erie Police Department. Citizens registered for the course will be provided a handbook, attend demonstrations and hear from a variety of Erie Police Department representatives.
